Over 3 miles long, the annual "Miracle of Christmas" light display has an official tour route and is marked by reflective Keizer Snow Cops.
Besides delighting youngsters of all ages, the Keizer "Miracle of Christmas" volunteers accept donations of non-perishable food or money on behalf of the Marion-Polk County Food Share organization (www.foodbanksalem.org) and help replenish the food bank during it's busiest season.
Each year, the weeks leading up to Christmas provide ample opportunity for viewing similar light displays in communities all over the US.
The bright and cheerful lights pale in comparison to the light in the eyes of the children. The magic of the season filling their hearts and minds as they look first this way, then that, trying to see it all at once, while hoping it will never end.
