Roses In Bloom
A trip to the coast for Labor Day (2002) proved to be disappointing for taking pictures, with the notable exception of these incredibly beautiful roses.
Sunday night, close to midnight, we checked into a small budget priced motel in Kelso Washington.
Monday morning we looked out the window of our second floor room to see, not a swimming pool, but a delightful garden with roses, dahlias, and a chinese pear tree where the pool had been...
...Of course, we had to take pictures!
We've taken numerous shots of flowers, before and since, especially Roses.
Owens Memorial Rose Garden in Eugene features roses that bloom early-, mid- and late-season, providing a stunning display of color and blooms all summer long.
From hybrid tea roses to climbing floribundas, and nearly every color of the rainbow, one of these roses is sure to look perfect on your computer desktop.
When we know the name of the rose, it will be listed under the thumbnail. While most of the roses growing in public gardens have information placards, the names of roses growing in private gardens usually aren't available, as in the case of the roses we photographed in Kelso.
