Stop at any of the many turnoffs overlooking the water along the 33 mile road that encircles Crater Lake and you'll find an amazing view. This shot was taken looking towards the Northwest, with Grotto Cove directly below the viewpoint. The sharp pointed peak to the right, in the background, is Mt. Thielsen. The rounded peak to the left is Mt. Bailey. The sky was clear and the water calm, providing mirrored reflections of the rim in the water.
