Oregon boasts over 350 miles of picturesque coastline where rocky shores and cliffs are the norm. Long stretches of sandy beaches are few and far between.

Tide pools in large clusters of lichen covered rocks are a typical feature at low tide and the many large protruding rocks give the Oregon Coast it's distinctive rugged look.
