Crater Lake National Park, located in south central Oregon, boasts 180,000 acres of wilderness with the sapphire jewel of Crater Lake in the center. Nothing can truly prepare you for your first view of Crater Lake, with it's 6 mile wide caldera and the 20 mile circle of cliffs, and amazing rock formations. Averaging 533 inches of snow each year, the scenic Rim Road is open for only a few short months each year.
