It was mid-morning by the time we got to Anthony Lakes. We couldn’t see the Lake from the road, so we drove into the campground and found a place to park that was sheltered from the wind. It was beautiful and peaceful, but almost colorless. Everything appeared in shades of gray, except for the few trees that were close to us.

The first weekend of June, Llama and I went to Eastern Washington to attend a wedding. That night we stayed in La Grande, just East of the Blue Mountains and drove all the way back to Eugene on Sunday.
